The Palmetto Refer A Friend Program pays $100 to the referrer (the person providing the referral) when they refer a new customer to Palmetto. This promotion begins on April 5th, 2021, and is automatically applied to any projects that are generated through our referral submission page, where the agreement is signed during the promotion period.
Q: When is this promotion available?
A: The Palmetto Refer A Friend Program was renewed on April 5th, 2021. On/After April 5th, 2021, the Program’s value will be $100. There is no set end date for the referral program, although terms and conditions can change at any time.
Q: When are payments issued?
A: Eligible participants who meet all requirements shall receive compensation in the form of a check or other equivalent payment payable within 60 days of the completed installation of the referee's solar power system.
Q: Does the person who was referred receive any special offers?
A: No, if a new customer is referred to Palmetto by an existing customer, that new customer will not receive any additional offers as a result of being referred through the Refer A Friend Program. However, all new customers are still eligible for any currently active Palmetto promotion, such as the Solar Stimulus.
Q: Do I need to do anything different for customers that are referred through the Refer A Friend Program?
A: No, as long as the new customer's information was received through the Refer A Friend form, Palmetto will automatically track that referral, and pay the referring homeowner when all qualifications have been met. No additional or special treatment of referred customers is required.
Q: Can non-customers refer people to Palmetto?
A: Yes, anyone can provide a referral.
Q: Can this apply to appointments that have already been scheduled?
A: Referrals must be submitted before an appointment is scheduled for the referred homeowner. Retroactive submissions will not apply.
Q: What financing options does this apply to?
A: All projects are eligible for this promotion, regardless of financing type (ownership or lease).
Q. Are there any fees associated with this promotion?
A. No, there are no fees associated with participation in this promotion.
