Exclusion Zones are targeted boundaries to help focus on core population areas for better install timelines, faster sales payouts and improved customer experience.

  • The Big Picture: Alchemy will alert Sales Partners when a contact being created is outside of a Palmetto service area. This way, Sales Partners can focus sales in areas that Palmetto can efficiently service.

  • What is the experience be for Sales Partners:

    • If contact address is outside of a State / Utility that Palmetto services, it will show "Utility Not Supported”

    • If contact address is within a Utility that Palmetto services, but also in a Palmetto Exclusion Zone, it will show "Outside of Palmetto Service Area. This lead is outside of the Palmetto Service Area for this utility."

What Drives Exclusion Zones

AHJ Conditions Limiting to Solar

Overly Remote Areas

Jurisdictions where conditions to fulfill & install solar are overly prohibitive and Palmetto simply cannot execute acceptable customer and partner standards, based on market conditions.

Geographically Remote areas within serviceable states + utilities that we are unable to service and fulfill to acceptable standards. For example, many Western states where there is large geographic sprawl outside of core population areas.
