Changes may be required at any step of the project up until PTO. Customers may request changes such as panel placement, re-roofs, and system size. Placing these requests in for the customer will ensure that the project is designed and installed to the customer's requirements.

You might also want to request a change yourself if you disagree or want to dispute a final proposal that is returned to you.

The following will show how a Change Request is submitted through a Customer's Opportunity in Alchemy.

On the Opportunity page, use the action button located next to the final proposal and select Request Change. It's important to make sure you have CLEAR and CONCISE notes for the Project Engineer to understand what exactly is being requested.

Please note that you do not need to submit a change request if you want to change the price of a system, just use the Adjust Pricing button instead.

Once the request is placed, the project will be placed in Site Approval where it will either be Approved or Denied by a Project Engineer. The project will then show that a True-Up is in progress with the details of the change request.

  • If the change is APPROVED, appropriate changes will be made and reflected when a new final proposal is created.

    • If there is no change to cost or system size, the request will be communicated and closed out.

    • If there is a material change, cost, or system size, a new Final Proposal will be generated and must be approved by the customer.

      • Once Accepted, a new HIC and/or loan document will be generated and the project will be in a CHANGE ORDER state.

  • If the change is DENIED there will be comments from the Project Engineer, which will be in the Notes section of the Contact.
