Do NOT submit a change request when you only need a price change on a Final Proposal:

  • If you need to see a change to the system design, number of panels, scope of work, etc. you will need to submit a change request & send the project back through the Site Approval process.

  • If you ONLY need to see a price change, you can self service and adjust price, as outlined below.

Step 1: Navigate to Pricing for the Final Proposal

If a Final Proposal is returned to you and you would like to adjust price, click the three dots and navigate to Proposal Pricing, as shown below.

Step 2: Adjust Pricing, as Desired

You have the option to either adjust the Base Price Per Watt for the system to offer your customer a new price, or you will sometimes see the option to 'deduct cost from sales commission' for certain adders.

  • You can immediately adjust the Base Price Per Watt without needing to request a change order or contact support

    • Adjusting the price may require new documents to be signed if the price is different from the Preliminary Proposal

    • If new documents are needed, they will automatically be generated when you place order on the Final Proposal in the next step

  • By deducting the cost from sales commission, you can avoid the need to re-sign documents by keeping the homeowner's price the same, more information here

  • If you need to see changes to the system design or site improvements instead of only needing to adjust price, click 'Request Change' at the top of the screen to submit a change order, more information here

Step 3: Save Pricing & Place Order on the Final Proposal

Once you're happy with the adjusted pricing, click Save & Review Proposal to present the changes to your customer (if any changes made).

When your customer is happy with all of the details within the Final Proposal, click Select and Continue to place order on the Final Proposal.

  • If there are no changes to the project after adjusting the price, the project will automatically move forward and the project summary will be shared with the homeowner

  • If there are changes to the project requiring new documents, make sure you help your homeowner sign any remaining closing documents to keep the project moving forward
