As of 9/28/20203 Palmetto will start to accept, and review, sales of PV Installation on Manufactured Homes.
Due to the nature of which a Manufactured home is built and shipped to the customer’s property, Palmetto's Design and Engineering teams will require additional information prior to completing the Site Approval.
The following information will be critical to confirm that the structure is built up to local codes and can support the additional weight of solar panels for the life of the system:
Information required:
HUD and Structural Data plate photos
HUD plates are found on the exterior of the building
Structural Date Plates are found inside utility rooms or closets
Physical Site Surveys may still be required even with the additional photos. Palmetto will determine when the structural review is sent to Stamping Vendors at the time of Site Approval
A Manufactured Home Waiver must be signed by customers after site approval is completed
