Our updated dashboard provides a simple, comprehensive view of your home's energy performance. Learn more about the key features and data points available to help you understand your system and your overall Energy Balance.
Energy Balance Overview
The main goal of the dashboard view is to give you an immediate look at your home's energy activity. On the main page, you'll see a quick summary of your current Energy Balance. This number compares the total kWh your system produced to the total kWh your home used.
To access your complete data, tap the "More Detail" button, which opens the full energy dashboard. At the top, you’ll find a summary that quantifies how much more or less energy you consumed versus produced, along with an explanation of what occurred with the resulting energy difference (ex: extra energy drawn from the grid).
Visualizing Production and Consumption
This section features an interactive chart that serves as a powerful visual tool for analyzing how your system has performed over time, displaying the kWh of Production (energy generated) and Consumption (energy used).
This visual representation allows you to quickly identify periods of high production or high consumption. You can adjust the time resolution of the data to view your Energy Balance at various intervals.
Day: Provides a granular, hour-by-hour analysis of your home's energy.
Week: Useful for understanding week-over-week performance and routine usage patterns.
Month: Ideal for reviewing long-term seasonal trends and averages.
This final section brings all the data together, highlighting your system's performance and providing instructions for issues. Located right below the chart, the summary reports your Period Summary (total kWh produced and consumed), your final Energy Balance number, and your Lifetime Solar Production total.
A critical system alert will be clearly shown on the main Energy Balance screen if there are any issues with your system. If you see this alert, you can easily contact our support team immediately for assistance.
