How to Make a Payment in the Palmetto App

You can pay your Palmetto bill directly in the app using a credit card or bank account. If your account has a past-due balance, you can make a one-time payment to bring it current.


How to make a payment

1. Open the Billing screen Tap Billing from your home screen. Under Payment Information, you'll see your current balance and any past-due amount.

2. Tap Pay Now You'll find this button under Payment Information.

3. Choose your payment amount You'll see three options:

  • Total due — pays your full balance

  • Past due — pays only the overdue amount to bring your account current

  • Custom amount — enter any amount you'd like to pay

Tap Next to continue.

4. Select how you want to pay

  • Bank account (ACH) — no fees

  • Credit card — a 3% processing fee applies and is shown before you confirm

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Debit cards are accepted with no fee.

5. Enter your payment details If you're paying by credit card, you'll enter your card number, expiration date, CVV, name, and billing zip code.

6. Review and submit You'll see a summary showing the amount and payment method before anything goes through. Tap Submit payment to complete it.

Payments submitted before 4:00 PM ET on a business day are processed the same day. Payments submitted after that, or on weekends and holidays, are processed the next business day.


Frequently asked questions

What cards are accepted?

  • Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Debit cards are also accepted. Debit transactions have no processing fee; credit card transactions carry a 3% fee.

Is there a fee for ACH payments?

  • No. Bank account (ACH) payments have no fees.

Will this affect my automatic payments?

  • No. A one-time payment through Pay Now doesn't change your scheduled automatic payment. If you have a payment due on a future date, that will still process as normal.
