Autopay takes care of your monthly payment automatically so you don't have to think about it. From the billing page, you can enroll in autopay, turn it off, or switch which payment method gets charged.
Enrolling in autopay
All customers are automatically enrolled in autopay during account setup. If autopay is off on your account and you'd like to turn it back on:
Open the Billing screen from your home screen.
Tap Manage autopay.
Select your preferred payment method — bank account (ACH), debit card, or credit card.
Review and confirm.
Once enrolled, your payment will be charged automatically on your due date.
Customers enrolled in autopay receive a $15 monthly discount. That discount no longer applies if autopay is turned off.
Switching your autopay payment method
You can change which payment method autopay charges at any time.
Open the Billing screen.
Tap Manage autopay.
Choose a saved payment method or add a new one.
Confirm your selection.
The change will take effect for your next scheduled payment.
Payment options:
Bank account (ACH) — no fees
Debit card — no fees
Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express) — a 3% processing fee applies
Turning off autopay
You can turn off autopay from the billing page, but keep in mind the $15 autopay discount will no longer apply.
Open the Billing screen.
Tap Manage autopay.
Select Turn off autopay.
Confirm.
If you turn autopay off, you'll be responsible for making manual payments each month. You can make a one-time payment anytime by tapping Pay Now on the billing page.
Frequently asked questions
Will turning off autopay cancel my plan?
No. Turning off autopay doesn't affect your energy plan. You'll still owe your monthly payment — you'll just need to pay it manually.
What happens to my $15 discount if I turn autopay off?
The discount stops applying as soon as autopay is turned off. It will return if you re-enroll.
Can I change my autopay payment method before my next bill?
Yes. Changes take effect for your next scheduled payment as long as you update before the due date.
Does making a one-time payment affect my autopay?
No. A one-time payment through Pay Now doesn't change your scheduled autopay.
