How to Connect Your Utility in the Palmetto App

Customers who do not already have consumption data will need to connect their utility account in the app to track consumption and participate in the Smart Energy Program. Simply select your utility provider and enter your login credentials. If your provider isn’t supported yet, we’ll notify you as soon as it becomes available.

After entering your utility credentials, you may see one of the following:

  • Incorrect credentials: Re-enter your utility username and password.

  • Email approval required: Check your email and follow the verification steps (similar to two-factor authentication).

  • 2FA retry failed: Select the on-screen button to restart the email approval process.

  • No data available: Confirm that your utility account has usage data by logging into your provider’s website. If data is available there, contact our support team so we can help troubleshoot.

Note: If you’re a current solar customer, you do not need to connect your utility as your energy is tracked automatically.
